David Nekrutman has passionately served the calling of Jewish-Christian relations for over 20 years. His op-ed articles have appeared in The Jerusalem Post, The Times of Israel, and Charisma magazine, and he has appeared on GOD TV and CBN. For years, his Bible studies have investigated the Scriptures from a Hebraic perspective, which have enriched and even astonished his participants with insights they unknowingly overlooked in the Hebrew text.
As a youth, Mr. Nekrutman attended yeshiva schools in New York and Israel. Later, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania. In 2018, he received his Master of Arts in Biblical Literature with a Concentration in Judaic-Christian Studies from the College of Theology and Ministry at Oral Roberts University (ORU). His ORU degree established him as one of the very few Orthodox Jewish persons to graduate from a Christian university’s theology program. As a frequent traveler, Mr. Nekrutman speaks in churches, Bible study groups, and Christian colleges. In June 2021, Mr. Nekrutman received special recognition from Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Department of World Religions for his two decades of service as a Goodwill Ambassador for Jewish-Christian Relations. Currently, Mr. Nekrutman lives in Israel with his wife and their three sons.
